***** You know, I really enjoyed Electrosoma or whatever it was called. I have this thing about buying older cds. I don't like to do it. I bit the bullet and bought Time Tourist yesterday and just can't get into it. I've never been one of those chumps that turns his back on music because it's dated, but in this case... I'm sure it was great at the time, though. ***** i don't think so. i remember not liking it as soon as it was released. but then, i didn't particularly like electrosoma either; although... coupla tracks were OK i thought. the only b12 i ever liked was the one on the artificial intelligence comp; which i liked at the time but... now it does sound dated. (is electrosoma hard to find on vinyl these days? i have a copy i'd sell. i think it's in near-mint.) while we're on that subject of old beepy warp stuff--i've always really loved the darrel fitton track (aka bola) on the ltd edition version of artificial intelligence II... blipsalt is the name of it i think. it's one of my all-time favorite bleepy mid-90's style chill-out ambient techno. i would always search in record bins for "darrel fitton" hoping to find more of his work, and only found out he was "bola" after his first skam ep was out of print. j np: atom heart:brown __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
